About Rivero

Rivero is a successful fintech scaleup founded in early 2019. We are on a mission to enable banks and financial institutions to automate complex processes most simply and efficiently. In this way banks can focus on delighting their customers with streamlined digital interfaces. We fall into both the #FinTech and the #RegTech domain.

We have steadily grown our customer base and reached breakeven in 2023. At the beginning of 2024 we closed a series A funding round enabling us to accelerate our growth. We are looking for an ambitious and driven person to join us for the exciting phase ahead of us.

Tasks

What you can expect from the job

You will join our existing team of payment scheme compliance experts adding your knowledge and expertise so that we can provide more valuable insights to all our customers (mainly card issuers acquirers and service providers).

• Monitor and evaluate scheme publications (e.g. Announcements Business News Bulletins rulebooks etc.) and rule changes to understand their impact fully.
• Write guidance that helps customers understand how certain changes might affect their business and what to look out for.
• Take care of customer enquiries and onboarding as part of the customer success/support team. Provide indepth scheme compliance expertise and highlight good practices to help customers attain the most value from our products.
• Establish and maintain relationships with the relevant people from the different payment schemes.
• Participate in quarterly webinars to educate a wideranging audience about relevant rule and regulation changes.
• Work closely with product sales and operations to advance our product and improve our offering.

Requirements

What we are looking for

We value selfaware proactive people who take initiative and drive our products forward.

• A highly motivated selfstarter with a positive cando attitude and the ability to take ownership and drive things ahead
• You are competent in English. German and other languages are a plus.
• Proven track record as a Scheme Compliance Manager (or similar role) with several years of experience in analysing and implementing rule and regulation changes of payment schemes such as Visa Mastercard Amex JCP Diners Union Pay etc.
• Ability to understand and interpret scheme publications and identify their impact effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate complex compliance matters to nontechnical stakeholders.
