Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing scalable reliable and maintainable Python Django applications.
• Collaborating with the frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Developing and consuming RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between different systems.
• Optimizing the performance and responsiveness of web applications by implementing efficient code and data storage solutions.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs in existing applications.
• Implementing security and data protection measures to safeguard web applications from potential threats.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the developed applications.
• Documenting application features technical specifications and deployment processes.
• Collaborating with the team to brainstorm and implement new features and functionalities.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in web development.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Python Django Developer or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python programming language and its frameworks particularly Django.
• Strong understanding of web development concepts and technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and responsive design.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing code repositories.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and use tools like Jira or Trello for project management.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications.
• Good understanding of software design patterns and best practices in web application development.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining web applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
