React JS Developer

Overview

• Thorough understanding and experience of ReactJS and its core principles.
• Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications.
• Experience with data structure libraries.
• Must know RESTful APIs.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel Webpack NPM etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git SVN and Mercurial.

Key responsibilities

• Developing new userfacing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers
• Developing and implementing a user interface (UI) design
• Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to backend
• Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
• Creating configuration build and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
• Writing application interface code using JavaScript following React.js workflows
• Coordinating with the team working on different layers of the infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Proven experience as a React.js Developer
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel Webpack NPM etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Excellent problemsolving skills
• Team player with excellent communication skills
