Tasks

You actively shape your position we want you to get involved and contribute ideas.

• Design develop and maintain scalable clickstream data pipelines using AWS services like Kinesis Data Streams Delivery Firehose Lambda functions and S3 buckets.
• Implement data transformations and processing logic using PySpark to ensure efficient data handling and analysis.
• Optimizing and troubleshooting the existing data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate data from various sources into our DataLakehouse on DataBricks.
• Utilize Python and SQL for data manipulation querying and data validation tasks.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and proactively identify and address issues to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and using technologies in data engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python SQL and PySpark for data manipulation and processing.
• Handson experience with DataBricks and AWS services (e.g. S3 Kinesis Lambda) or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in designing implementing and optimizing ETL processes also orchestrating ETL workflows.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts with focus on the DataVault model is preferred.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of data integration and data quality best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent English in both verbal and written skills.
