Human Resources Specialist L2

Skills / Experience Required

• 5 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) work experience with a background in civilian personnel management systems
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to ensure mission success
• Support the management and oversight of Air Force military and civilian personnel systems
• Ensure effective administration and maintenance of HR information systems
• Develop deliver manage and maintain HR information systems tailored to departments needs
• Administer deliver maintain advise and adapt basic HR concepts principles and theories to meet military departments requirements
• Manage and support recruitment and placement processes within the civilian personnel system ensuring adherence to guidelines
• Facilitate human resource development activities including performance management to ensure continuous improvement and development
• Oversee and manage performance management systems to align personnel performance with organizational goals and standards
• Support professional and career development training programs
• Ensure personnel training history records are complete accurate and comply with regulatory guidelines

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor degree: Arts (BA) Science (BS)
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education
