Teamworx are recruiting for a well established retail store based in North Dublin offering an attractive salary for the right person.

A successful fresh food supermarket that operates as a household name. It offers a wide range of fresh foods from the instore bakery F&V and Butchers department including a full grocery shop floor and off licence.

This job offers a senior Department Manager Assistant Manager or even a Convenience Store Manager an opportunity to step up to the Store Manager in a mediumsized supermarket store. Working closely with the store owner you will lead a team of supervisors managers and staff to achieve results and drive consistent standards.

Responsibilities for this Grocery Assistant Manager job :

• Working as part of the retail store management team supporting colleagues and Supervisor Management
  
• Assisting the Retail Store Manager in the day to day running of this large supermarket store
  
• Ensuring compliance with all legislation applicable to the industry
  
• Ensuring customers experience excellent service at all times
  
• Ensuring the store is presented in a professional manner at all times
  
• Overseeing the Shop floor and fresh food ordering
  
• Management HACCP Duties
  
• Ensuring all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  

Requirements for this Grocery Assistant Retail Manager job :

• A minimum of 34 years experience in a retail grocery management role within a convenience or supermarket environment
  
• Excellent leadership skills
  
• Strong knowledge of fresh foods
  
• Strong people management skills
  
• Must be trained in the principles of HACCP
  
• Excellent customer service skills
  
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  
• Must be fluent in the English Language both verbal and written
  
• Must be available for early starts and late finishes
