Design Project Manager - Lagos

Our client is a leading construction company with a strong reputation for delivering highquality structures and innovative design solutions. They are looking for a dedicated professional to lead their design initiatives and ensure seamless integration with construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning review and execution of design processes for civil construction projects.
  
• Establish and manage design project schedules monitor budgets and ensure timely delivery of highquality drawings.
  
• Collaborate with Engineers to create technically sound drawings that meet project specifications and standards.
  
• Coordinate with various teams to streamline project specifications and ensure efficient execution of design plans.
  
• Conduct site inspections to ensure designs are faithfully executed and meet quality standards.
  
• Identify and address potential issues swiftly implementing robust contingency plans.
  
• Provide creative direction and feedback to exceed client expectations.
  
• Represent the company while engaging with clients and professional teams.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of design processes and project progress.
  
• Generate reports highlighting milestones and addressing challenges.
  
• Perform any other functions requested by management.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree in Architecture Design Construction Management or a relevant discipline.
  
• MBA and/or MSc in a relevant field is an advantage.
  
• Relevant professional certifications in Civil Engineering Design or Construction Management are an added advantage.
  
• Minimum of 10 years experience working on highrise buildings.
