Job Title: IBM DataStage Developer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and deploy scalable and efficient ETL solutions using IBM DataStage to support data integration transformation and loading processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders data analysts and other members of the technical team to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data profiling cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency of data across systems and platforms.
• Optimize and enhance existing ETL processes to improve performance reliability and maintainability and troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
• Implement best practices for data governance security and compliance ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data integration and analytics and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an IBM DataStage Developer or ETL Developer with expertise in designing and implementing ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts dimensional modeling and relational database systems with experience working with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell scripting Python or Perl and experience with scheduling tools like ControlM or Autosys.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
