Graphics Designer

Job Title: Graphics Designer
Duration: 5 months (Possible extension)
Location: Jackson MI 49201

Summary:

The Graphics Designer will create visually compelling and original visuals to educate and engage audiences build stakeholder trust and achieve desired behaviors and outcomes. Assets may include digital static HTML5 and Out of Home advertisements email web social media direct mail print ads infographics and other tactics. The designer will take ownership of assigned subject areas gaining a deep understanding of customer problems and developing visually unique ways to engage the audience.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in graphic design programs (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience in website design and content development
• Knowledge of typography color theory and basic design principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent storytelling skills
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability with the ability to navigate diverse business groups and geographical cultures
• Photography skills are a plus
• Proficiency in After Effects will set you apart
• Education:
  • Bachelors degree in graphic design business or related field
  • Associates degree in graphic design business or related field with two (2) or more years of applicable experience
  • High School Diploma with ten (10) or more years of applicable experience
• Experience in a fastpaced marketing organization or corporate brand department is preferred
