You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA Director of Marketing plays an essential role in developing and implementing the annual PR and marketing plan, driving key objectives, current initiatives and leading relevant activities relating to the hotel.
The role will be responsible for directing the hotel’s PR and marketing team, driving results and ensuring the department performs an integral role in bringing together all function areas to ensure commercial targets are heightened.
What will I be doing?
As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead and direct the marketing and PR function on hotel level, create and implement all departmental strategies within budget guidelines and ROI targets
Oversee execution of all B2B and B2C marketing and PR strategies, whether local, regional or global, across all available channels, ensuring brand adherence and effectiveness
Responsible for measuring the success of all marketing and PR activities, and producing performance reports for all key stakeholders
Head up and champion all media relations activities throughout the hotel ensuring all media and press kits are up to date, media visits are executed perfectly and press releases, features, events, newsletters, brochures are delivered and accomplished to an outstanding level
Be in charge and lead all internal communications initiatives and strategies to include developing stories, filming, responding to requests quickly, sharing information with key stakeholders and ensuring all written work is 100% accurate and reflects the hotel in a professional manner
Ensure full support is given from marketing and PR towards all hotel departments and print collateral requirements are met within budget guidelines
Be the brand champion ensuring all collateral conforms to agreed brand standards and content is compliant of corporate guidelines and within budget guidelines across all marketing activities
Direct individual brand initiatives and ensure hotel brand campaigns are rolled out effectively and communicated using the right tone of voice for each segment
Monitor, identify and execute opportunities for growth of the Hilton loyalty program Hilton Honors and booker incentive programs by adhering to on-property guidelines
Lead the team in conducting continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends, continuously evaluate and drive commercial success whilst identifying key PR opportunities
Identify and drive a sound social media strategy for the hotel and support departmental initiatives
Continue to develop, grow and identify opportunities for key partnerships whilst driving revenue in all hotel disciplines
Ensure hotel maximises all media, customer, marketing and PR activity locally whilst ensuring participation in global partnerships initiatives
Handle all appropriate use of marketing and PR content, creative resources, translation and photography while optimising an effective online presence in line with regional strategy
What are we looking for?
A Director of Marketing serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
College Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Hotel Management
Experience of working in a similar senior marketing and PR position in the hospitality industry fora number of years
Experience of directing, managing and motivating a winning team along with evidence of driving successful team results
