Job Description

Our client is a leading Italian agrofood group founded in 1970s employing more than 1700 people and exporting 40% of its production in more of 100 Countries; it has five plants (three in Italy 1 in Brazil and 1 in Malaysia) 25 foreign subsidiaries 2 branches and a large network of distributors and importers. Through its various brands the company offers highend raw materials semiprocessed and finished products across all channels: industrial artisan Ho.Re.Ca. and retail.

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join the team and drive sales growth in Thailand.

As a Sales Director you will be responsible for leading the sales team and developing strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives in Thailand. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth expanding market share and building strong relationships with key clients.

Job Description:

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets in Thailand.
  • Leading and managing the sales team providing guidance coaching and support to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and customer segments.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients understanding their needs and requirements to effectively deliver solutions.
  • Collaborating with other departments including marketing product development and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Analysing market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitoring sales performance metrics and KPIs providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
  • Driving a culture of accountability professionalism and excellence within the sales team.
  • Staying updated on industry developments market conditions and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Representing the company at industry events conferences and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand the customer base.


Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree or Diploma in any relevant field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles with at least 57 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in bakery business promoting and developing products such as Chocolate Margarine or UHT nondairy Cream is a must.
  • Extensive knowledge of the food industry market in Thailand including key players trends and challenges.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that drive business growth.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Resultsoriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Fluency in Thai and English languages.
  • Willing to travel within assigned territory.
