Job Description
We are looking for a Server/Desktop Administrator with an Active Top Secret Clearance) who thrives in a sophisticated technology environment and prioritizes customer satisfaction in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Job Title: Server/Desktop Administrator
Location: Rosslyn VA
Job Type: Permanent
Duties:
- Review daily risk scores and take actions to address variability and compliance issues
- Provide support to servers on multiple networks and classifications
- Provide support for problem escalation beyond the first tier of help desk
- Interact with network services software systems engineering and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem
- Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating problems
- Document and maintain procedure manuals
Requirements
- Education Bachelors Degree in related field required
- Clearance Active Top Secret
- IT Experience More than 5 years
- System Administration experience in monitoring and management of system resources monitoring and auditing system logs backup and recovery security and managing operating systems
- Technical Administration/Support Experience Windows Operating System Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Active Directory (creating maintaining transferring and removing user accounts) Desktop
- Certifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Information Assurance Technical Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management and ITIL v3 Foundation certification
Great To Have:
- VMware vSphere
- Virtual machines troubleshooting
- LAN/WAN Networking including routers switches and firewalls
System Administration experience in monitoring and management of system resources, monitoring and auditing system logs, back-up and recovery, security, and managing operating systems Technical Administration/Support Experience Windows Operating System, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Active Directory (creating, maintaining, transferring, and removing user accounts), Desktop Certifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Information Assurance Technical Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management , and ITIL v3 Foundation certification
