We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home care team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a home care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional mobility.
- Provide direct therapy services to patients as prescribed by the Physical Therapist including exercises manual therapy and use of therapeutic equipment.
- Monitor and document patient progress adjusting treatments as necessary under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and techniques to enhance recovery and maintain functional improvements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Travel to patients homes to provide therapy services adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques modalities and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Requirements: 1 year of recent Home care experience (Private duty does not qualify) BLS Valid RN license in MA Driver's license
