Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data & Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic consultancy team based in Belgium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and data engineering with the ability to design implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud solutions for a diverse range of clients. Fluency in English and either French or Dutch is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture: Design and deploy robust scalable and secure cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Data Engineering: Develop and manage ETL pipelines data warehousing solutions and data lakes to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- DevOps: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines automate cloud infrastructure with tools like Terraform Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients and crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing support and optimization for cloud and data solutions including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures data workflows and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Languages: Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Java or Scala.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra).
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark and Kafka.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes Jenkins Terraform).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) is a plus.
