About the role
SolidAfrica is seeking highly organized and proactive Hospital Operational Supervisors to provide highlevel administrative support to the organizations executive team. These supervisors will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of daytoday activities managing communications and facilitating coordination between internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Nutritional Program Awareness: Maintain a thorough understanding of the Nutritional Program to ensure effective implementation and adherence to guidelines.
  • Gemura Program Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of the Gemura Program ensuring all activities are aligned with program goals and timelines.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and manage special activities and events such as Christmas celebrations Fistula initiatives and International Patient Day ensuring all events run smoothly and meet their objectives.
  • Field Officer Support: Provide ongoing support to field officers addressing their needs and facilitating their work in the field.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety protocols including the use of gloves masks proper attire and headhats to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews of Data Collectors and Service Team members providing feedback and guidance to improve their effectiveness.
  • Field Officer Rotation Support: Assist Sandra in managing and organizing the rotation schedule for each Field Officer to ensure balanced workload distribution.
  • Budget Management and Requisitions: Prepare and manage the budget for the entire team submit operational and program requisitions and ensure timely disbursement and settlement of bills.
  • Food Transportation Logistics: Coordinate the transportation of food ensuring accurate tracking of food locations and timely delivery to designated areas.


Requirements


  • Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Public Health Nutrition or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in program coordination administrative support or a similar role preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to identify issues develop solutions and implement effective action plans.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all tasks and documentation.
  • Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
  • Budget Management: Experience in budget preparation management and financial reporting.
  • Logistics Coordination: Ability to manage logistics effectively including transportation and tracking of resources.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support colleagues as needed.
  • Commitment: A strong commitment to Solid Africa s mission and values.
