Role Objective and Summary Objective: To effectively support the Finance Manager and the broader finance team in maintaining precise financial records ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.

Summary: The Assistant Manager Finance will work closely with the Finance Manager to oversee and review the financial activities of thirdparty administrators and the quarterly financial records of various funds. This role includes coordinating with investment and development teams to ensure compliance accurate valuations and timely investor responses. The Assistant Manager will manage comprehensive accounting processes including general ledger maintenance accounts payable and receivable monthly closings budget analysis and financial statement preparation.

Key responsibilities encompass liquidity management financial analysis cash flow forecasting and drafting fund flow memos for investments. The role also involves managing annual audits for multiple entities conducting accounting and tax due diligence and gathering information for regulatory filings. Additionally the Assistant Manager will interact with offshore accounting teams respond to investor inquiries and support the Head of Finance with various projects and ad hoc tasks. Maintaining complete company accounts and ensuring meticulous financial recordkeeping are crucial aspects of this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive company accounts.
  • Assist the Finance Manager in reviewing thirdparty administrators and quarterly fund books.
  • Coordinate with investment and development teams for compliance valuation and investor requests.
  • Support full accounting processes including general ledger maintenance accounts payable/receivable monthly closings budgettoactual reporting and financial statement preparation.
  • Support liquidity management financial analysis and cash flow forecasting.
  • Assist in management reporting and data analysis for all investments.
  • Draft fund flow memos for investments.
  • Manage and coordinate annual audits for various funds holding entities and fund managers.
  • Contribute to accounting and tax due diligence before and after investments.
  • Provide information for regulatory filings (e.g. MAS IRAS).
  • Interface with offshore accounting teams.
  • Address investor inquiries and requests for financial information.
  • Provide financial information and analysis as requested by the business.
  • Support ad hoc projects and tasks for the Head of Finance as required.

Qualifications Educational Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in finance accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in fund accounting financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Experience with annual audits and regulatory compliance processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with general ledger functions accounts payable/receivable and financial statement preparation.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data to support decisionmaking.
  • Proficiency in liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS IRAS).
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards in the finance industry.
