Position: PartTime Lawyer Corporate and Civil

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PartTime Lawyer to join our team at Seema Elahi MD Inc. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate and civil law with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance. This is a parttime position with a commitment of 20 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and guidance to the company and directors on corporate and civil matters

Draft and review contracts agreements and other legal documents

Represent the company or directors in legal proceedings such as lawsuits and negotiations

Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations

Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance in all aspects of the companys operations

Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and government agencies

Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies

Handle any other legal matters as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois

Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate and civil law preferably in the healthcare industry

Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
