About This Role:
Eventos is a hybrid agency focused on creating and driving trends and setting
benchmarks in the hospitality industry with a key focus on nightlife. As a member of
the Marketing Team of Eventos, The Social Media Specialist will drive a cohesive social
media and content strategy that brings brands to life. This role will be instrumental in
ensuring the Value Proposition of all venues is consistently and creatively activated
on owned and paid channels through innovative and authentic content, and
storytelling formats.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive social media and assist the Marketing Manager in executing content strategies to build awareness of all GBL venues and Eventos events across all owned and paid channels including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and more.
- Ideate, produce, and publish content to increase followers, and brand awareness and grow brand loyalty and credibility.
- Expand and grow social media presence and followership through organic and paid media campaigns; manage the content calendar and social content pipelines to ensure the consistency of all GBL Venues and employer brand presence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to generate content that maximizes GBL & Eventos’ brand reach on social channels.
- Responsible for copywriting social content and campaign messaging grounded in the Employee Value Proposition/employer narrative to drive relevance amongst key audiences.
- Manage social media reporting and analytics to quantify and qualify the effectiveness of social media content and campaigns.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in social media and content marketing, digital, or a related field.
- Passion for photography and videography; capturing moments, candid's and event coverages are a major part of the role.
- Data-centric with a deep understanding of social platforms and best practices across TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snap, YouTube, and more.
- Awareness of trending topics, styles and ideas, and willingness to stay updated with the latest in the social media marketing industry is a must.
- Strong copywriting skills with a good grasp of branding and community culture.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented, ability to build relationships, and work with a wide range of internal departments and regional teams.
- Previous experience handling the socials of nightlife venues is a plus.
