Our client is a major importer and distributor of goods in Malta. Due to their continued expansion and success they require a Storekeeper who will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Duties:
Organizing and managing incoming supplies.
keeping tally proper stacking and organizing products in the warehouse.
Managing Warehouse Personnel and keeping a free flow process.
Keeping accurate and updated records and managing stocks in the most appropriate
manner.
Informing the Warehouse Management of any discrepancies regarding incoming goods.
Conducting weekly stocktaking exercises.
Ensuring that the store is kept at a very high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Supervising and preparing daily work for Pickers and Labellers.
Substituting other Storekeepers when necessary.
Being on call in case of any sudden emergencies.
Interested candidates must: Have a minimum of two years experience in the role;
Be motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision;
Have excellent time management communication and organization skills;
Be a team player;
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
Have a valid working permit (if necessary);
Possess a clean and valid driving license and must be able to operate a Fork Lifter.
Communication skills in Maltese will be considered as an asset.
