Job Description

Platinum Global Talent Solutions is delighted to be supporting the recruitment for a premier industry leading General Contractor with expertise in heavy civil infrastructure construction environmental remediation and industrial services.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project management and administrative tasks for a multitude of diverse projects. Your role will involve ensuring timely submission of project information accurate data entry monitoring critical project information maintaining positive client relations and managing project closeout requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Timely Submission of Project Information: Collaborate with leadership to ensure prompt submission of required paperwork and information from job sites to the office.
  • Maintain Accurate Viewpoint Data: Work closely with accounting staff to ensure accurate entry of Viewpoint information including field data and change orders for accurate weekly meeting reviews.
  • Monitor Critical Project Information: Continually review Viewpoint Job Cost reports and other critical project data related to budgets schedules and production to ensure alignment with estimates/proposals and job safety plans.
  • Manage SOVs for Every Project: Create and maintain Statements of Value (SOVs) in Viewpoint for accurate tracking of project progress and expenditures.
  • Approve Payments and Billing: Review and approve vendor and subcontractor payments prepared by accounting ensuring all necessary information is provided for accurate project billing in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • Preference for a fouryear degree in engineering technology or construction management.
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams clients and stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills with diligence in managing project documentation and processes.
  • Proficient with MS Word Excel or similar software with the ability to learn industryspecific software such as HCSS HeavyJob and Viewpoint Construction software.
