Successful candidate will be responsible for the Tenable platform maintenance (tier 2) administration troubleshooting and support of a network vulnerability scanning solution covering the FirstNet & Main corporate Tenable platform global network. Responsibilities include system administration of Linux (ubuntu & Redhat servers) network troubleshooting and executing network vulnerability scan failure that are brought to the tier 2 team. Expert level knowledge of TCP/UDP protocols/services is required including analysis of network packet captures using Wireshark and TCPDUMP. Expert understanding and knowledge of the Tenable.io & Tenable SC platforms and network vulnerability scanning a must. You will not be doing the remediation or scanning yourself the scanning team will come to you for help to investigate and find the root cause of why the scanner is failing or false negatives or positives. You will also be needed for Linux System maintenance and administration (Ubuntu & Redhat) Creating users creating groups leveraging keys deploy apps on/in Linux SSH Memory Usage Monitor Health of System (system health checks) group assignment. Bash and/or Shell scripting is a NICETOHAVE.
