Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Procurement data mining & analysis of information to frame reports for strategic decision for direct material.
- Frame reports to management related to Indian macroeconomic indicators and forecast raw material price trend.
- Develop and conduct analytics based on procurement and business partner needs and direction.
- Identifies key opportunities for cost savings initiatives through financial analysis benchmarking and best practices.
- Drive Value Engineering & Cost Planning activities along with business entities.
Expectations:
- Work closely with the Japanese team to secure and maintain excellent communication and high standards within the department.
- Identify opportunity areas implement new / improved solutions and increase productivity.
- Good analytical & problemsolving skills.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to multitask effectively meet deadlines and prioritize work assignment.
- Strong influencing skills able to change behaviors and business direction through clear presentation and use of data.
- Sourcing for direct material coordinate in framing & implementing strategy for department goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
BE (Mech) / MBA with 610 years Experience
Advanced user of Microsoft Office Excel & PPT.
Preferred:
- Exposure in managing pool purchasing in diverse product & services.
- Good knowhow on the cost structure of product & services.
- Strong negotiation skills with stakeholders.
- Worked in supply chain management / Procurement department of any industry.
- Exposure in working with Japanese companies.
- Good knowledge on commodities costing.
- Knowledge on market dynamics & factors influencing commodity prices.
- Hands on Experience to use aPriori / Cost analysis tools.
