Job Description
Position: Technical Product Owner
Location: Bellevue WA 98007
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description:
- The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for successfully delivering and managing products and solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI Power Apps Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents. This role requires a blend of technical expertise strategic vision and strong Agile experience to drive product development and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap ensuring it reflects stakeholder priorities and business value.
- Lead the Agile product development process including sprint planning backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
- Work closely with Scrum Masters Architects developers and QA teams to ensure timely and highquality delivery of features.
- Provide technical guidance and support for the development of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate Power Virtual Agents).
- Ensure solutions are designed for scalability security and maintainability following best practices.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value stakeholder input and technical feasibility.
- Write clear and detailed user stories acceptance criteria and technical requirements.
- Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure products meet functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and incorporate feedback into the product development cycle.
- Plan and manage the deployment of new features and updates.
- Develop training materials and support documentation for endusers and support teams.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Microsoft Power Platform to drive innovation.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Overall 12 years of industry experience and at least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner Technical Product Manager or similar role.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate Power Virtual Agents).
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies and leading Agile teams. Skills
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban).
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts tradeoffs and new opportunities.
- Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fastpaced environment. Certifications:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or similar are advantageous.
