Civil 3D Technician

Technical 2D and 3D model and drawing production using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Capable of both dry and wet 3D modelling preparing profiles with minimal guidance from engineers.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D to create highquality highperforming infrastructure designs.
Proficiency in performing design tasks such as surface analyses drawing alignments creating profiles/sections basic grading capabilities with 3D Polylines/Feature lines modelling basic Corridors and performing volume calculations.
Creating data shortcuts and setting up Civil 3D template.
Creating pipe and pressure network using different input methods.
Managing the delivery of BIM models and CAD documentation of designs as well as compiling BIM Execution Plans.
Coordinating with other disciplines and supporting strong service delivery to all internal clients.
Taking responsibility and accountability for work activities and coordinating design efforts.
Prioritizing market objectives and distributing work across the team of Digital Delivery Technicians.
Liaising with internal and external clients as required and maintaining high work standards.
Working collaboratively with Digital Delivery Leads delivering in line with Jacobs BIM Standards.
Supervising and approving BIM Objects in compliance with market/client/Jacobs BIM Standards.
Accountable for Quality Assurance / Quality Control process.
Supplying information for use in Coordination Meetings and attending as required.
Identifying and escalating risks as required.
Reviewing the Digital Delivery Execution Plan to understand the project BIM requirements.
Working with Digital Delivery Leads Design Automation Leads and Discipline Leads and reporting to lead engineer.
Enjoying working with others and building relationships being personable and approachable.
Demonstrating a high standard of quality output and meeting delivery dates.
Having over 5 years of Drafting experience on a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects and industrial plant projects.
Holding an associated degree/diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or equivalent and a certificate from any CAD institution in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
Having extensive working experience with Civil 3D software and excellent communication skills.
Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Having Revit or NavisWorks software abilities is a plus.
