Job Description
Overview:
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. The below job opportunity is with one of our Biotech clients who researches develop and commercializes drugs. The company focuses primarily on antiviral drugs used in the treatment of HIV hepatitis B hepatitis C and influenza including Harvoni and Sovaldi.
Position: Distribution Specialist
Location: Frederick MD 21704
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description:
- Handle the daytoday assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities
- Receive incoming shipments of nonGMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
- Dispense GMP materials to support production operations
- Prepare and deliver raw materials to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed
- Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and accurate ERP transactions
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalate when appropriate
- Crosstrain in additional areas of the warehouse operations
- Prepare general shipments and equipment as required per established policies and procedures (Excluding Patient Material)
- Ensure individual employee training is uptodate
- Adhere to all safety procedures and keep warehouse operation clean and inspection ready. Additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience with warehouse inventory management using ERP systems
- GMP experience preferred
