Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure highquality images
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans
• Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort
• Follow protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Assist radiologists in the interpretation of CT images
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to safety and quality control standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment through regular maintenance and troubleshooting
• Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Certification in CT imaging from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as a CT Technologist
• Proficiency in radiology equipment operation
• Knowledge of radiation safety measures and protocols
• Strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced highpressure environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Uptodate knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in CT imaging
