Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Data Validation:
1. Perform thorough testing of datasets reports and dashboards developed in Power BI to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Data Quality:
1. Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
2. Identify and report data quality issues ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the data engineering team.
Data Analytics:
3. Identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics.
4. Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels.
5. Develop and execute a regional business plan aligning with program goals.
6. Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to the broader team.
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with data engineers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and business logic.
2. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that data testing aligns with project timelines and goals.
Documentation:
1. Document Analysis cases Results and issues in a clear and organized manner. Create and maintain documentation related to data validation processes and testing methodologies.
Continuous Improvement:
1. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality practices.
2. Participate in knowledgesharing sessions to disseminate best practices across the team.
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduation in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis with a focus on Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data structures databases and data modelling concepts.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
- A leader and critical thinker with time management skills.
