Job Role: Avaloq Tester

Work Location: Edinburgh UK

Mode : 3 to 6 months contract

Job Description :

Responsible for all test activities throughout testing lifecycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts with specific focus on digital applications like Webbanking and Mobilebanking.
Customer facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

Define Test Policy and Test Plan
Provide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing
Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
Report progress to management and client
Manage client relationship with appropriate communication
Manage defects and Reporting
Design update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and nonfunctional requirements ensuring their reusability
Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance assessment on environment readiness)
Must have:
Indepth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
Experience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments
Functional knowledge of Web and Mobile banking
Experience with Avaloq banking system solution
Working knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM JIRA MS Office Suite

Nice to have:
Technical knowledge of web and mobile applications
Experience of testing in Agile context (Continuous Integration Continuous Testing TDD BDD API testing)
ISTQB Certification or equivalent
