Objective
The Ticketing and Reservation Officer is responsible for planning and making reservations for Wakanow customers.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
- Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Checking the availability of accommodation on the customers desired travel dates.
- Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
- Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations
- Providing support to customers who have already made travel purchase by confirming changing or canceling the reservations
- Notifying passengers about involuntary flight reschedule or cancellation
- Selling addon travel products such as hotels travel insurance etc.
- Informing clients of essential travel information such as travel times transportation connections and medical and visa requirement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Ticketing and Reservation role.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Amadeus and other GDS platform
- A deep knowledge of the aviation industry and ticketing rules.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
BSc/BA in business administration, sales, tourism or relevant field Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role Proven sales track record Experience in customer support is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Proficiency in English Market knowledge Communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport Time management and planning skills
