Project Engineer

Key Activities and Accountabilities
Develop and monitor project plans timelines and budgets driving success and resource optimization.
Produce check and approve Engineering documentation as required and check PDM entry as required.
May be required to functionally supervise and mentor Engineers and Drafters.
Perform all tasks in accordance with Fieldwood Energy quality standards procedures and policies.
Upload information to Engineering databases and use technical software packages as required.
Actively participate and lead Engineering meetings and reviews as required.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and proactively liaise with Supervisor / Team Leader / Manager on any issues or concerns.
Assist with the introduction and development of new products based on firsthand knowledge of product technology and industry needs.
Participate in tests pilots and trials of new products or equipment to assess suitability.
Actively monitor and assist with the evaluation of advancements in technology and methodology trends associated with new products.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications
Degree qualified or related professional qualification in an Engineering background
Previous experience within a related industry (Well Test and/or Production preferred)
Proficient in use of technical software package such as AutoCAD and Microsoft office (Excel PowerPoint Projects and Word)
Strong communication stakeholder management and problem solving skills
Preferable knowledge in fields related to Electrification and Automation of manual processes
