Job Description
- Process letters of credit (L.C.) applications and documents accurately and efficiently
- Review documentation to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and bank policies
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and correspondent banks to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and issue L.C. amendments and other related documents
- Maintain accurate records of L.C. transactions and ensure proper documentation archiving
- Ensure timely communication with customers and provide updates on the status of L.C. requests
- Collaborate with the trade finance team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to L.C. processing
- Contribute to process improvements and participate in system enhancements and testing
