Job Description
Position Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Abuja
Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager
Job Type: Fulltime

Job Summary : We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Onekobo Technologies Limited. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining electrical systems and components for our advanced simulation and training products. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of electrical systems in our technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Development:
Design and develop electrical systems and components for simulation and training products.
Create detailed electrical schematics layouts and wiring diagrams.
Select appropriate electrical components and materials based on project requirements.
2. System Integration:
Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into simulation products.
Ensure seamless communication and functionality between electrical components and other system parts.
Conduct systemlevel testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper integration and operation.
3. Prototyping and Testing:
Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance.
Perform debugging and optimization of electrical systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to define requirements set timelines and monitor progress.
Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues that may arise.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all electrical designs including specifications test results and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards safety regulations and best practices.
Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate new technologies into designs.
6. Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with the production team to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as needed.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
1. Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and development preferably in the simulation or training technology industry. Proven experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g. AutoCAD Altium Designer).
2. Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
Proficiency in microcontroller programming and embedded systems.
Experience with PCB design and layout.
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g. IEEE IEC).
3. Soft Skills:
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
4. Certifications (Preferred):
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Certification in relevant areas such as embedded systems power electronics or control systems.
Working Conditions This role may require occasional travel to client sites and manufacturing facilities.
Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
