Supply Chain Director

Job Summary:

The Director of Supply Chain is essential in supporting our clients Operations team to ensure safe highquality and efficient production. This role will develop and implement a comprehensive Supply Chain Management Plan in line with the companys business goals and strategic plan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Improve the supply chain to support business growth and reduce expenses.
  
• Oversee planning sourcing supplier quality and purchasing ensuring talent development.
  
• Lead sales inventory demand planning procurement and planning ensuring accurate forecasts and supply chain execution.
  
• Develop inventory strategies for maximum efficiency and quality.
  
• Collaborate with manufacturing on outsourcing and insourcing for new and existing products.
  
• Create a sourcing strategy aligned with business growth and supply chain goals.
  
• Monitor financial metrics and implement fiscal controls to maximize cost savings.
  
• Develop operating budgets with Operations/Finance.
  
• Establish controls and reporting systems for accurate information on performance and savings.
  
• Stay updated on supply chain trends through publications and conferences.
  
• Perform related duties and assist in general business management as needed.
  

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business
  
• 5 years of management experience
  
• 7 years of supply chain experience
  
• Experience with ERP systems
  
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (30 F to 45 F) for up to 12 hours
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  
• Strong teamwork people and communication skills
