We are looking for a creative and motivated Magazine Editor Intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.

Tasks

Are you a budding writer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling Do you thrive in a fastpaced creative environment If so we want you to be part of our editorial team! As a Magazine Editor Intern you will gain handson experience in the world of magazine publishing working closely with our editors and contributing to the creation of compelling content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Assist in writing editing and proofreading articles for our magazine and online platforms.
• Research: Conduct research on relevant topics and trends to support content development.
• Collaboration: Work with writers photographers and designers to ensure cohesive and engaging content.
• Editorial Support: Help manage editorial calendars organize content schedules and maintain databases.
• Social Media: Assist in creating and curating content for our social media channels.
• Administrative Tasks: Support the editorial team with various administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism English Communications or a related field.
• Skills: Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Creativity: A creative thinker with the ability to generate unique and engaging content ideas.
• DetailOriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Communication: Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace and familiarity with social media platforms. Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Passion: A genuine interest in the magazines focus area e.g. fashion technology lifestyle and a desire to learn and grow in the field of magazine publishing.
