Job Description

A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including but not limited to body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice and tour of the facilities. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction regarding all areas of Spa services in accordance with company standards. What will I be doing? As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: • Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies • Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest. • Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use • Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed. • Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor. • Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services. • To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the department • To report any maintenance issues to Spa Director • Assist in all areas of the operations as requested by Spa Director • To be fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotel • To ensure that departmental operation budget is adhered to, maximizing revenues and minimizing expenses • Attending Hilton Trainings and monthly departmental meetings as required • Provides efficient guest service from point of arrival to check out. Books, changes and cancels appointments and up sells retail
