Responsible for providing presales support to sales and technical staff for design/build proposals and RFP reviews. Must have a good understanding of AV & VTC systems a working knowledge of Excel and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. CTS or DMCD certification are preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engineer Design/Build Solutions Create roughorderofmagnitude budget
- Create equipment list for Estimating to price based on functional needs of client
- Create sales proposals; send approved proposal to the client
- Work with Sales in a PreSales capacity with onsite client visits
- Maintain regular communication with Client and Directors
- Work with Project Team to verify system functionality
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that company offers
- Provide sales and technical staff with technical support on both a pre and post sales basis
Qualifications:
- Twoyear electronics degree preferred
- CTS certification AutoCAD NOT required but a nice to have
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the AV field required
- Proficiency with Crestron Biamp Logitech Shure Polycom Cisco Video Teleconferencing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
