Pharmacy Technician

PHARMACY TECHNICIANS & PHARMACY SUPPORT STAFF (Permanent)
Our client a rapidly growing specialty pharmacy is seeking Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Support Staff to support their expanding team. These are critical roles in a fastpaced environment with potential for professional growth.

Responsibilities (depending on role) may include:

• Perform daytoday responsibilities to ensure prescriptions are prepared and filled accurately
  
• Receive orders and ensure they are entered into the system appropriately
  
• Review individual patient prescriptions and profiles to ensure orders are completed properly
  
• Make outbound calls to doctor s offices to ensure scripts are correct
  
• Contact insurance companies to push through claims and troubleshoot issues
  
• Prepare and dispense medications while under the supervision of a Pharmacist
  
• Print and properly label each medication for distribution
  
• Update pharmacy system to accurately reflect completed orders
  
• Maintain inventory levels ensuring each is being properly stored sorted and returned when unused or excess
  
• Create compliance/adherence packs and perform any corrections to packages as necessary
  
• Perform basic support for adherence packing machines
  
• Ensure deliveries are scheduled to reach their intended facilities on time
  
• Maintain an understanding of SIG codes
  
• Ensure compliance is maintained at all times
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time direct hire
  
• 37.5 hour work week OT eligible; 9:00AM5:00PM 11:00AM7:00PM or 12:00PM8:00PM every 4^th5^th Saturday
  
• 100% inoffice
  
• $16.00 $21.00/hour depending on experience
  
• High School diploma
  
• Pharmacy Technician License or Certification preferred
  
• 1 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  
• Excellent computer skills
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Strong organization skills and time management skills
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Selfmotivated
  
• Maintain high level of confidentiality
  
• Relocation not available
  
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
