Job Description

We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for a HR Executive for a reputed diversified conglomerate located in Sri Lanka. Below is the summary of the Job Description.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process including job postings screening resumes conducting interviews and onboarding new employees.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Manage employee relations addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and other perks.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate and conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Assist in the performance management process including setting objectives conducting appraisals and providing feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations staying updated on changes and advising management accordingly.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address HRrelated needs and contribute to overall organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on HR metrics and activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Certification in HR (e.g. SHRM HRCI) is a plus.
