Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting GAAP compliance tax preparation budgeting and forecasting. The role requires proficiency in ERP systems Microsoft Excel & any of the popular Accounting tools like Tally QB Zoho etc. The candidate should also be capable of providing audit support conducting financial analysis and implementing cost accounting measures. Nontechnical skills such as attention to detail analytical thinking problemsolving time management communication skills teamwork leadership adaptability integrity and organization are essential for success in this role. With a minimum of 3 years of experience the ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in these technical skills and exhibit the nontechnical skills necessary to excel in a professional accounting environment.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for decisionmaking

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

Perform cost accounting and analyze financial data for cost reduction opportunities

Tax and Audit Support:

Prepare and review tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations

Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis

ERP Systems and Data Analysis:

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis

Experience with popular accounting tools such as Tally QB Zoho etc

NonTechnical Skills:

Demonstrate attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis

Apply analytical thinking and problemsolving skills in complex financial scenarios

Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
