As a Financial Accounting Manager you will oversee the accounting department ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency in financial operations. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the companys growth and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Compliance
Ensure the accuracy timeliness and appropriateness of financial accounting recording and submission in SAP in compliance with local GAAP.
Oversee monthly quarterly and yearly closing of P&L Balance Sheet and Cash Flow including sales & GM review overhead review and EBIT/EBITDA finalization.
2. Cash Flow & Audit Management
Manage cash flow and bank balances optimizing the companys cash position.
Prepare 15week cash flow projections biweekly ensuring high accuracy.
Oversee statutory audits and ensure smooth timely completion and compliance with HQ and local requirements.
3. Regulatory Compliance
Collaborate with the company secretary to ensure adherence to local regulations including license applications and renewals.
Implement and ensure compliance with einvoicing and transfer pricing regulations.
4. Credit & Risk Management
Assess new credit applications and manage existing credit renewals and adjustments.
Monitor credit risk propose provisions for doubtful accounts and enforce credit control measures.
Lead credit recovery efforts in collaboration with the sales team and legal advisors.
5. Process Improvement & Inventory Management
Drive process improvement initiatives such as eclaims and new procurement procedures.
Manage inventory reporting and control slow and nonmoving inventory to achieve target DIO days.
6. Accounts Receivable & Payable
Oversee AR collection and projection to meet DSO day targets.
Manage AP payments to ensure smooth operations and optimize working capital achieving DPO day targets.
Requirements
1. Degree in accounting or finance; ACCA MICPA or CPA preferred.
2. 810 years of experience in a similar role preferably in manufacturing.
3. Proficient in accounting and ERP systems especially SAP.
4. Strong communication skills in English Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
5. Selfmotivated resourceful and capable of working independently.
