Role: Cloud Engineer

Duration:12 months (will extend every 6 months for 3 years) OR Contract to Hire

MUST BE LOCAL NO RELOCATION

Prior Cap One Contractors are preferred

This is an IAM team and they are looking for cloud engineers to help with building data pipeline and developing APIs in Python

JOB DESCRIPTION

Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data pipelines to facilitate the flow of data between various systems and our data warehouses.
Build and optimize data storage solutions ensuring scalability reliability and efficiency.
Implement IAM (Identity and Access Management) best practices for data security privacy and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data infrastructure and pipelines.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation scripting and automation.
Experience with API development and integration for data extraction and processing.
Familiarity with containerization using Docker for packaging and deploying applications.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP for building and maintaining data infrastructure including IAM setup.
Understanding of database technologies and data warehousing concepts including Snowflake.

Preferred Qualifications:.
Knowledge of SCIM and other IAM related concepts.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
