Project Lead - data Science

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Lead Data Science to oversee and drive our data science projects at Company Name. As a Project Lead Data Science you will lead a team of data scientists and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver datadriven solutions that address business challenges and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

   • Lead and manage data science projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery of highquality solutions that meet business objectives.
   • Define project scope goals and deliverables and develop project plans and timelines.

2. Team Management:

   • Supervise and mentor a team of data scientists providing guidance on project execution technical skills development and career growth.
   • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

3. Crossfunctional Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data engineers business analysts product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements define project objectives and prioritize tasks.
   • Communicate project progress status updates and insights to stakeholders effectively.

4. Technical Leadership:

   • Provide technical leadership and expertise in data science methodologies techniques and tools guiding the team in the selection and implementation of appropriate solutions.
   • Review and evaluate data science models algorithms and methodologies to ensure accuracy efficiency and alignment with project goals.

5. Innovation and Strategy:

   • Drive innovation and thought leadership in data science identifying emerging trends technologies and best practices to enhance the organization's data capabilities and competitive advantage.
   • Contribute to the development of data science strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

6. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle implementing best practices for data collection preprocessing analysis and visualization.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related field.
• years of experience in data science or related roles with a proven track record of leading and delivering data science projects.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experience managing crossfunctional teams and driving project execution.
• Expertise in data science methodologies machine learning algorithms statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R as well as experience with big data technologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
