Role and responsibilities

• Building custom WordPress websites from scratch based on the design specification set out by UX/UI personnel.

• Ability to debug and implement fixes to existing websites.

• Run compatibility testing on existing websites when updating plugins and themes.

• Management and support of existing client websites including debugging and implementing fixes and compatibility testing on existing websites when updating plugins and themes.

• Creating new features for existing client websites

Required skills and experience

• Fluent English

• PHP 3 years

• HTML CSS and JS 3 years

• SQL 3 years

• Experience building custom WordPress websites

• Previously worked in an agency developing client projects

• Conscious of cybersecurity bestpractices

• Understanding of DevOps best practices and concepts to help deliver highly performant and resilient websites.

Be able to independently craft robust and performant WordPress websites that satisfy the requirements set out by the UX/UI team with no reliance on additional support from other developers in the team.

Be able to play a vital role in the development of larger WordPress applications by working closely with other Pixable team members.

Create elegant plugins and features that are welldocumented that can be easily used for future projects.

Help foster and propagate the culture of Pixable to other team members in India.

Desired skills and experience

• Proficient understanding of object oriented programming
  

• Comfortable working with design files in figma

• Comfortable working in Agile (scrum) project management methodology
