We are seeking two skilled Network Engineers to assist with the daytoday operations of our global network and gateways. These roles involve participation in strategy planning and innovation activities to advance departmental and wholeofgovernment priorities. The Network Engineers will work on strengthening and modernizing our gateway environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with operations of global systems.
• Provide technical contributions to network and gateway technologies including Juniper Cisco Trend Micro F5 Clearswift and Fortigate.
• Contribute to documentation.
• Develop gateway highlevel designs and detailed designs.
• Articulate technical details through design and implementation plans.
• Diagnose and solve technical problems.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Communicate effectively both in written and oral forms.

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of relevant experience demonstrating strong gateway engineering and technical skills and knowledge.
• Experience in the development of gateway highlevel designs and detailed designs.
• Ability to articulate technical detail through design and implementation plans.
• Highly developed diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Broad understanding of industry wholeofgovernment direction emerging technologies and their application to solve business problems.
• Strong stakeholder management and client services skills.
• Strong understanding of ASD Essential 8 and experience with contributing to security accreditation of ICT systems.
• Experience in the daytoday operations of highly secured networks and cryptography solutions.
• Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance
• Canberra work location
