At PeekaBoo we are looking for qualified and passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our very busy setting we are offering a 38 hour working week a great salary c 25600 depending on qualifications and experience with loads of great benefits and career progression. Peekaboo Nursery school is based in the Barnton area of Edinburgh and is part of CC Nurseries. Our beautiful 84 place setting is in beautiful surroundings close to local forests and Cramond beach. PeekaBoo offers a homefromhome environment led by our passionate and caring team our nursery is filled with handpicked resources (natural where possible) to encourage selfdirected play and discovery. Requirements

As a Early Years Practitioner you will:

Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development

Enhance the allaround daily needs of children including their physical intellectual social and emotional development

Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child staff parent and visitor always

Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room

Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Curriculum for Excellence are met

Qualifications in Early Years and at least 1 years experience of working in a Nursery

As Head of Room you will: Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room Lead and support your team together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice at all times Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met Qualified level 3 or above, with at least 3 years experience of working in a Nursery and at least 1 year's experience of leading a team.
