PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Our client based in Windsor is a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer. They are looking to employ on a full time permanent basis a Production Engineer experienced with SMT Machines PCB Assembly and production machine programming.

The role is within the production environment producing PCB assemblies therefore the ideal candidate must have handson experience in supporting a PCB assembly facility.

Production Engineer Offer

36k to 39k depending on experience plus key staff bonus

Hours are MonThurs 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri 08:00 to 13:00 a 37hour week

Holidays 5 weeks plus Bank Holidays

Production Engineer Responsibilities

Converting customer supplied data into programs for production machinery

Respond to breakdowns

Strong problem solving skills

Ability to produce high quality work instructions

Production Engineer Requirements / Skills

Competency with Computer Aided Manufacturing packages for PCB assembly (e.g.; Circuit CAM Factory Logics Fuji CAM)

Experience working with SMT machines (Siemens ideally)

Proven track record of using customer supplied Gerber BOM and CAD data to generate production machine programs is essential

Experience of stencil design and ordering

Knowledge of oven profiles and screenprinting process
