Job Description

Job title: Registered Children s Home Manager

Registered Care Manager vacancies in Derby: We are hiring an experienced Registered Manager to join a team as a Home Manager for a new 3bed service in the Derby City area.


  • Are you looking for a new role in providing residential care and support for children and young people
  • Do you have experience working with children that have learning disabilities challenging behaviours Autism ADHD
  • Are you passionate about providing a supportive environment for children who have suffered neglect trauma sexual exploitation or other types of domestic abuse


If youre a dedicated and enthusiastic leader with a background in Residential Child Care specialising in Learning Difficulties (LD) this could be the perfect role for you!


The role

As a Home Manager youll be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver excellent care and support for young people within the service. Youll also be responsible for carrying out routine meetings supervisions probationary reviews and leading investigations for any concerns raised with your staff team.



Requirements

The requirements

  • Recent experience working within the residential sector at a registered manager level within a Children residential learning disabilities service.
  • Youll also need a Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum.
  • a Certified Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent or a willingness to work towards completing this.
  • Additionally you should have experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Child Care setting.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
