We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement & Logistics Officer. In this entry-level position, you will be responsible for supporting the group procurement and logistics functions within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective
acquisition of goods and services at group level.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand and document their procurement needs.
- Support in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and assist in negotiating contracts.
- Assist in monitoring market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to provide relevant
insights.
- Aid in the coordination of logistics activities, including transportation, distribution, and
warehousing.
- Support efforts to optimize logistics operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist in forecasting demand and planning procurement and logistics activities.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in
procurement and logistics.
- Provide support in generating regular reports on procurement and logistics performance
metrics.
- Assistance in maintaining proper & accurate records for Capex Budget file
- Maintains local supplier relationships to ensure the procurement of materials and services are supporting international and local needs
- Prepare & send RFQ & RFPs to be approved international/local vendors.
- Prepare Comparison Sheet, Purchase Orders on Procurement System and following with
supplier related to PO.
- Contribute to supervising the Store activities and check inventory on Monthly/Quarterly
- Assist in Supervising shipping arrangements, Tracking, Customs clearance for local and foreign destination with Logistics team.
- Follow up renewals for vendor support, maintenance contract.
- Ensures the daily conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) from the business in to Purchase Orders (POs) for indirect purchasing
- Leads investigation, maintenance and changes of Purchase Orders (POs) (indirects) or frame agreements to allow for successful processing of supplier invoices
- Maintain records & Files.
- Maintain internal procedures and documentation.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
