● EMURGO Fintech builds products that create seamless connectivity between digital assets, fiat currency, and traditional financial institutions.

● EMURGO Media has developed a social content platform with the Cardano community at its core and positioned for creation, curation, aggregation and monetization of the ecosystem projects and tools.

● EMURGO Academy provides Cardano blockchain courses to students and developers looking to start, or transition to, a career in the blockchain industry, as well as executives and entrepreneurs seeking to understand how Cardano blockchain might augment their businesses.

● EMURGO Africa is an investment vehicle that also provides hands-on acceleration and incubation programs, with $100m having been earmarked for investments in Africa, where a key growth driver in the region is the use of lending and borrowing crypto services for daily life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product managers to shape strategic product roadmaps and execute on tactical tasks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize insights from various sources including business analysis, marketing, communication, customer support, and engineering to enhance user experiences.
• Conduct user research and testing, refining methodologies to better understand user needs and behaviors.
• Prototype and iterate on design ideas to validate their feasibility and effectiveness.
• Develop intuitive workflows and interactions that seamlessly translate business requirements into exceptional UI designs.
• Maintain and enhance the existing design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all product interfaces.
• Work hand-in-hand with engineers to implement designs and contribute to design-oriented product development discussions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product design roles, preferably with a focus on cross-platform B2C digital products in fintech and/or blockchain sectors.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology and its impact on product development and user interaction.
• Proficiency in user research, usability testing, data analytics, and design validation techniques.
• Strong skills in design systems, including creating design tokens, components, patterns, and product white-labeling.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with design thinking, Google Design Sprint methodologies and a knowledge base of UX/UI best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Proactive mindset with a strong ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
