Your Opportunity

Stantecs Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is looking for a resultoriented and dynamic Business/Data Analyst to work closely with our client in a transformation journey for their Operation and Maintenance Departments.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for delivering transformational work as part of our Management Consulting Group in Qatar supporting and advising our client in maturing their Roads O&M supply chain. The candidate for this position will be working from our clients office and is a clientfacing position to provide management consulting service to our client. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• tSupport and advise the client Management in administering a Roads O&M PerformanceBased contract including setting the program of works work inspection regime participating in technical and contractual discussions review and approve monthly invoices.

• tIdentify analyze and interpret trends or patterns in data sets.

• tInterpret data analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing presentations and reports.

• tAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources to update and maintain databases.

• tCollaborate with various stakeholders and government departments and understand the requirements to develop key performance indicators and translate it into formulas in MS Excel

• tDevelop MS Excel based tools to improve workflow.

• tFilter and clean data by reviewing reports printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.

• tWork with management to prioritize business information needs.

• tProduce presentations circulars and other marketing material to promote achievements of the business.

• tProvide guidance and coach team members in data analytics.

• tPresent to the Client and stakeholder departments of all levels.

• tCreate and update project schedules and professional reports.

• tCreate proposals for data analysis improvements.

Qualifications:

• tBachelors degree in business administration engineering or related field.

• tMasters degree in business administration and/or an engineering field from a Western Country would be considered beneficial.

• tMinimum of 10 years post graduate work experience

• tExperience in IBM/Google/Microsoft analytics tools related to data analysis/data science.

• tAdvanced experience in MS Excel is required. Coding in Visual Basic to create and amend MACROS is considered an asset.

• tManaging SharePoint and/or Office 365 applications

• tAdvanced PowerPoint skills to develop dynamic stories and present analyses is required.

• tWelldeveloped written communication skills in the preparation of presentations technical reports correspondence and proposals are considered an asset.

• tExcellent oral and written English language skills.

• tExcellent Stakeholder Management skills.
